CIGRE Honorary Members
An Honorary Membership of CIGRE Australia was bestowed on Rod Hughes at the Annual General Meeting held on 28 November in consideration of Rod’s exceptional contribution over many years including to the AU B5 Panel, SEAPAC, CIGRE SC and WGs, and developing and managing KMS both for CIGRE Australia and later CIGRE globally.
The Chairman Dr Sean McGoldrick also announced that due to Rod’s extensive commitment to SEAPAC that at all future SEAPACs a best paper award, including a prize, would be granted in Rod’s name.
