Professor Michael Negnevitsky receives ACPE-CIGRE recognition
Professor Michael Negnevitsky of the University of Tasmania has received the prestigious ACPE - CIGRE award which is an annual award recognising exceptional Australasian academics for outstanding career-long contributions to teaching and research in electric power engineering as well as contribution to industry and CIGRE activities.
Professor Negnevitsky said that he was "honored to be nominated by his peers and recieving this award was unexpected and a pleasant surprise ". In his acceptance speech, Professor Negnevitsky gave a brief outline of the work he has been involved in over many years, and thanked his colleagues for their support and advice over that time.
