Draft high level program for Cairns Symposium published!
CIGRE Australia has today published the DRAFT high level program for the 2023 Cairns Symposium.
CIGRE Australia CEO Terry Killen announced the release today and said he and the organising committee were very pleased to be able to give a early hint of the raft of presentations and technical content that will be discussed at the Symposium.
Mr Killen said that 349 Synopses had been submitted, of which a little over half are international submissions. This will result in some 260 technical papers for the Symposium. He said that in addition CIGRE also has a full presentation schedule for both the CIDER and SEAPAC events which will be held within the symposium.
Mr Killen said that there is a growing list of sponsors and exhibitors who are keen to sign on and display their products and services to what looks like a delegate list of 500+ regional and international technical practitioners.
More information will be released before Christmas, including the local and international key note speakers at the event. Mr Killen stated that the Cairns Symposium with eleven of the sixteen global Study Committees in attendance, will not only be the biggest CIGRE event ever held in this region, but is also shaping up to be an experience not to be missed.
CIGRE Australia acknowledge and thank the Diamond sponsors for the Symposium.
