The CIGRE Board is to hold its annual planning and strategy day in Perth and will take the opportunity to present a short seminar covering what CIGRE is about and the potential benefit to members.

Executive Manager Terry Killen said that

"this will be an ideal and unique opportunity for both existing members and those who may just be curious about what CIGRE is and what we do to come along and get some information.  We will have our Technical Chair speaking on our technical   Australian operations as well as locals Phil Southwell (International CIGRE Fellow) and Perry Tonking (Horizon Power) who will give a summary of some of our international activities "
