Another CIGRE Australia member receives international recognition
CIGRE Australia is very pleased to announce that Dr Genevieve Lietz from AEMO has been awarded the WiE (Women in Energy) award which recognises outstanding contributions of WiE members to CIGRE activities. Dr Lietz has been the Secretary of CIGRE Study Committee C4 (Power System Technical Performance) since 2018 and an active member of working groups
C4/B4.38 "Network Modelling for Harmonic Studies" and C4.55 "EMC related very-fast transients in gas-insulated substations - EMC interferences, measured characteristics, modelling and simulations". She was also the recipient of the CIGRE Pioneer 2020 e-session Achievement Award and jointly edited the SC C4 chapter of the CIGRE Green Book "Electricity Supply Systems of the Future" with SC C4 Chair, Dr Zia Emin. In addition, she was a contributing author to the CSE paper "The Need for Enhanced Power System Modelling Techniques and Simulation Tools".
