CIGRE 2014 Session Young Engineer Scholarships

By ANC, 17 April 2014

This year saw 28 excellent submissions for the award of the much sought after CIGRÉ Scholarship to attend the CIGRÉ 2014 Session to be held in Paris during August.  The scholarship covers a sum of up to $6000 and includes airfares, accommodation and registration to the event.

The CIGRÉ Session provides a unique opportunity for the scholarship holders to listen to contributions from international senior executives as well as experts and specialists through official presentations, panel discussions, technical meetings and poster sessions.  They will have the opportunity to meet and contact with very experienced engineers, technicians and suppliers  and develop their global network.

This year's successful candidates were:

Alexandra Price from Energex and Jenny Riesz from University of NSW.

Congratulations to Jenny and Alexandra and we wish them all the best in their future careers.
